Marketing Specialist
This position is responsible for coordinating and executing a broad range of strategic and tactical marketing tasks to maintain Sprott's product offering.
Responsibilities:
- Provide input & coordinate the development, design, implementation and distribution planning of marketing material, both new and existing, print and electronic.
- Create and update marketing materials with varying scope and impact that include brochures, presentations, fact/performance sheets.
- Assist in planning and managing the production of new materials and campaigns which includes scheduling, routing for approvals, editing, proofing, routing for design, routing for translation, posting and promoting content.
- Liaise between Printers and Sprott Marketing & Sales Team to maintain marketing materials and inventory - making sure materials are available; reprinting when necessary; manages the administration of marketing projects, archives files and documentation.
- Proof reading and coordination of final sign off on marketing collateral (print material and web).
- Work closely with Sprott Sales Team to fulfill client requests and maintaining strong relationships and providing marketing support to internal business partners.
- Provide assistance/back-up to Marketing Manager.
- Filing, organizing invoices and monitors budget, executes material within the assigned budget and obtain quotes from vendors.
- Based on history, recommends print and inventory quantities.
- Organize and manage the distribution of print material through the appropriate channels.
- Investigate and provides solutions/recommendations regarding marketing related inquiries.
- Assist in the management of conferences, meetings and special events; coordinate all logistical aspects of meetings and special events.
Work Experience/ Skills:
- Five (5) years plus experience in financial services marketing coordination or relevant position.
- Knowledge and experience with print, web, email and multimedia marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to adapt to change, work in a fast-paced growing environment, and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment and to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Extremely strong time management skills, detail oriented, proactive, and motivated.
- Creative thinker.
Education:
- University degree with an emphasis in marketing, business or communications preferred.
