Sprott Inc. ESG Commitment to Diversity

July 22, 2020

At Sprott, diversity and inclusion have always been part of our corporate culture. However, it has also become clear to us that we have a responsibility to do more to promote these values and actively participate in the fight to create opportunities for underrepresented groups and end anti-Black systemic racism.

I am proud to announce that, earlier this week, Sprott signed the BlackNorth Initiative CEO pledge. This pledge commits us, together with many of Canada’s other leading corporate citizens, to ensuring that inclusion is core to our workplace culture and that our businesses are representative of the communities we serve. We pledge to address head-on the concerns and needs of our diverse employees and increase equity for all, including, but not limited to, Black, Asian and other racialized communities in Canada, Indigenous peoples, members of the LGBTQ+ community, persons with disabilities, and women.

We recognize that much needs to be done to achieve these goals. We look forward to working alongside our fellow signatories to create a better working environment and promote true diversity and equal opportunity in the businesses we manage on behalf of our shareholders.

BlackNorth Initiative CEO Pledge

Sincerely,
Peter Grosskopf
